What should I expect from an aerialist performance at my event?
Our professional aerialists will arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled performance time (earlier if aerial rigging setup is required). Once the event begins, guests will be treated to a captivating display of aerial silks, aerial hoops (lyra), and graceful aerial choreography performed high above the crowd.
These skilled aerial performers twist, spin, climb, and flow through the air with breathtaking strength and elegance, creating a visually stunning experience that will mesmerize and entertain your guests.
Can the aerialist perform from the venue ceiling, or do they bring their own rig?
Our aerial performers can either rig directly from your venue’s ceiling or bring their own professional aerial rigging equipment, depending on the location and setup.
Ceiling Rigging Requirements
If the aerialist performs using a ceiling attachment point, the venue must provide:
- A secure structural rigging point rated for at least 2,000 lbs
- Safe access to the rigging point such as a ladder, manlift, catwalk, or lift system
- A minimum height of 16 feet
- If the attachment point exceeds 30 feet in height, please notify us in advance so we can plan accordingly.
If the aerialist brings their own rig, how much space is required?
When an aerial performer brings their freestanding aerial rig, adequate space and ceiling clearance are required.
Large Aerial Rig
- 25 ft x 25 ft unobstructed ground space
- 25 ft minimum ceiling clearance
Compact Aerial Rig
- 20 ft x 20 ft unobstructed ground space
- 17 ft minimum ceiling clearance
These professional rigs allow aerialists to perform aerial silks, aerial hoops, and other aerial acts safely at venues that do not have suitable rigging points.
Do aerialists perform to music?
Yes! Aerial performances are typically choreographed to music to enhance the dramatic visual experience. You may:
- Provide your own sound system, or
- Request sound equipment from our team.
Please let us know in advance so we can plan the setup.
How long are aerial performances?
Most aerial entertainment packages include two performance sets per hour, typically lasting 10–15 minutes each. This format allows performers to:
- Interact with guests
- Change costumes if needed
- Maintain the highest level of performance energy
What do I need to provide on the day of the event?
To ensure the aerial performers are fully prepared, we ask that the event host provide:
- A private green room or changing area
- A secure place for performers to store personal belongings and costumes
- Access to the performance space before guests arrive if rigging is required
- This helps our aerialists prepare comfortably so they can deliver a safe, professional, and unforgettable aerial performance.
Can aerialists perform at outdoor events?
Yes! Our aerial performers can perform indoors or outdoors at festivals, corporate events, weddings, galas, and private parties.
- Outdoor performances may require:
- Suitable rigging points or an aerial rig
- Level ground
- Safe weather conditions
